Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Live Oak, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Landmark Construction has been selected to deliver the Live Oak USD Luther ES New Modular Classroom Wing & Live Oak HS Alternative Education Modular Buildings LLB for our valued customer, Live Oak Unified School District. This is a Lease-Leaseback project. Luther ES New Modular Classroom Wing consists of demolition of the existing portable classroom buildings, existing paving and landscaping. Installation of new aggregate base building pads, new concrete perimeter foundation, installation of building modules onto new perimeter concrete foundation, site utilities, fire alarm system, new data/telecomm pathways, installation of water and sewer utilities to new restroom building, new concrete walkways and new landscaping. Modular classroom building by AMS. This work is anticipated to start 4/14/2023 with completion by 11/16/2023. Live Oak HS Alternative Education Modular Buildings consists of demolition of existing portable classroom buildings, existing paving and landscaping. Installation of new aggregate base building pads, new concrete perimeter foundation, installation of building modules onto new perimeter concrete foundations, site utilities, fire alarm systems, new concrete walkways, new wrought iron fencing/gates and new landscaping. Modular buildings by AMS. Demolition of existing campus is anticipated to start 01/02/202 with completion by 01/27/2023. Construction is anticipated to start 02/17/2023 with completion by 07/20/2023. Include with your proposal the Skilled and Trained Graduate List which can be found in the folder in the Plan Room labeled Skilled and Trained Graduate List. If you have not submitted a prequalification application to Landmark Construction please complete the form in the folder in the Plan Room labeled Landmark Prequalification Application. The District has a 3% DVBE participation goal in place for this project. DVBEs are encouraged to provide proposals. Landmark is willing to break down work items into economically feasible units to facilitate DVBE participation. We are willing to assist qualified DVBE firms in obtaining bonds, lines of credit and/or insurance. A sample copy of Landmarks subcontract agreement has been provided for your review. Any proposed changes to these documents must be included with your proposal at the time of bid. Successful bidders must execute Landmarks standard subcontract agreement. Fingerprinting is required; please include considerations for this expense. All plans and specification will be distributed electronically, via Landmarks online plan room - no hard copies will be provided. Subcontractor Bonds may be required, but Landmark Construction will pay premiums up to 2% of contract amount.
