The Project consists of the renovation of two classrooms to create several rooms for a music studio, as well as the associated electrical and architectural work including selective ceiling and lighting replacement. DESCRIPTION OF ALTERATIONS WORK . Scope of alterations work as indicated on drawings. . Plumbing: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. . HVAC: Alter existing and add new construction. . Electrical Power and Lighting: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. Fire Alarm: Alter existing and add new construction. Architectural Finishes: Remove and replace ceilings, paint as required, as indicated on drawings. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Peoria Public Schools District No. 150 in an amount of five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect in the specifications and copies thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. The Bidder acknowledges, through submission of this Bid and based on a contract or notice to proceed being awarded on or before the week of Monday, February 6, 2023. Substantial Completion must be achieved no later than Friday, June 9, 2023.
