Purpose and Scope: The University of Tennessee is seeking vendors to provide a new pool liner and remove the existing pool liner at the UT Southern indoor swimming pool in Pulaski, Tennessee. This would involve resurfacing the indoor PVC lined lap pool, a 25 meters length pool, at the Curry Athletic Complex on the campus of UT Southern. Please see the specifications below for more information. The Universitys decision to cancel the solicitation is within the Universitys sole discretion Technical Specifications The pool area totals roughly 5,800 square feet and is a 25-meter length pool (please see the attached CAC floor plan for more information). Please provide any warranty information that is available for any of the products installed. 1. Remove the existing PVC pool membrane, termination strips, and any significant residue, and lightly prep the surface of the pool for the installation of a new 60 mil PVC membrane or equivalent. 2. Adhere an 11-ounce polypropylene felt protection / leveling layer to the entire surface of the pool. 3. Custom fit and adhere a premium 60 mil light blue PVC membrane or equivalent to the entire surface of the previously felted pool. 4. Close the membrane using white hard capped PVC strips set into a bed of caulking and fastened onto the top of the walls just below the gutter's coping stones around the perimeter of the pool. The preference is to finish with a bead of white caulking. 5. Install six 12-inch-wide black PVC swimming lanes and wall targets as existing, and black PVC transition lines in accordance with the State of Tennessee codes. 6. If necessary, install custom made Type 1 Hard PVC flanges around all penetrations including around returns, lights, insert stairs, or main drains
