Site work for a water / sewer project in Heyworth, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of Jan 18 the project is anticipated to be awarded tomorrow. This project consists of furnishing all work necessary for the completion of the installation of construction of a lined storm sewer and placement of two Village furnished storm sewer manholes in the vicinity of 201 & 203 S. Karr Street.. The proposed improvement consists of the following approximate quantities: Installation of 110' Storm Sewer, Special, 85' within a carrier or casing pipe composed of Standard Duty Steel Casing and 25' outside the carrier or casing pipe 20' beyond the house limits. The carrier or casing pipe also shall be lined with a cured in place liner that connects the 5' & 7' manholes, Village furnished. Additional associated work will include traffic control and protection, temporary erosion control, erosion control blanket, construction staking and mobilization. Bids must be submitted to the Village Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Karr Street - Lined Storm Sewer" This is a prevailing-wage project. No pre-bid meeting will be held. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The bid award will be made by the Village Board, and the decision of the Board will be final.
