Please Note Morehead State University Will Be Closed December 19 - January 1, 2023. Any Questions Recevied During This Time Will Be Answered After the Holiday Break But No Later Than January 11, 2023. All Questions Will Be Answered via Addenda That Will Be Issued and Posted at Online. Furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to remove and replace the current field
at Morehead State University Jayne Stadium. Scope of work includes the installation of artificial
grass as indicated on the drawings and as specified herein; including components and accessories
required for a complete installation. Including, but not limited to:
1. Place and maintain temporary protection of adjacent surfaces as required for all work.
2. Demolition and legal disposal of the existing turf and infill system.
3. Fine grade existing suitable aggregate base as required to achieve required finish
planarity of quarter inch over 10 feet.
4. Furnishing and installing new synthetic turf system.
5. Furnishing and installing field markings.
6. Providing field maintenance training.
7. Field to have:
a. Midfield 4 color Eagle Head logo (33-5 x 35)
b. White field border with blue coaches boxes
c. Standard football markings
d. Blue end zones with gold letters (EAGLES x 2)
e. Media Lines
A five percent (5%) Bid Bond or cashier's check must be included with bid to receive consideration if bid price
exceeds forty thousand dollars ($40,000).
A one-hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder, if the bid is in excess
of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The Performance Bond must be issued and submitted to the Office of
Procurement Services within ten (10) days after notice of award.
