The Town of Woodside is soliciting bids for removal of nine (9) eucalyptus trees on the east side of Mountain Home Road, all within the public right of way adjacent to 225 Mountain Home Road in Woodside, CA. The trees to be removed have been marked with yellow caution tape (wrapped fully around the trunk of each of the nine trees) To be deemed responsive, bids must include: 1) Total cost for completing all work, including labor, materials, equipment, stump grinding below grade, off-hauling debris, and any other necessary services or costs associated with the work or incorporated Traffic Control Plan. The cost for removal of the most northward tree (the tree closest to the bridge marked as Tree #1 in the attached location map) should be itemized separately from the other 8 trees. Therefore, there shall be two bid line items in the bid, one for Tree #1, and the other for all other 8 trees. 2) Statement that bidder agrees to execute the Towns Tree Removal Work Agreement (Agreement) and provide the required payment bond within 14 days of award by Town. 3) Statement that all work shall be complete within 60 calendar days of execution of the Agreement and all construction work shall be completed in no more than 10 working days, as required by the Agreement. 4) Proof of insurance coverage necessary to satisfy the insurance requirements of the Agreement.
