Site work and paving for a civil project in West, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of May 1, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed at this time. For Playdium Drive Wastewater Improvements Phase 2 Wastewater improvements shall include installation of approximately 1,005 linear feet of 15-inch SDR-26 PVC pipe and eight (8) manholes along Playdium Drive. One (1) existing manhole shall be removed and replaced with a new manhole at the intersection of 1st Street and alley way with necessary reconnection of existing ingoing/outgoing pipes. One (1) manhole shall be epoxy coated at the intersection of Mesquite Street and alley way. Water improvements shall include installation of approximately 1,170 linear feet of 6-inch C900 DR18 PVC pipe with necessary appurtenances, connections, and fittings. Three (3) new fire hydrant assemblies and new water service connections shall be installed. Street improvements shall include approximately 3,900 square yards of new asphalt pavement with new base material and subgrade work along Playdium Drive and a portion of E. Columbus Street. The Columbus Street improvements shall also include about eighty-two (82) linear feet of standard concrete curb and gutter and thirty-one (31) linear feet of concrete ribbon curb.
