This contract provides for the installation or replacement of traffic signal detection cameras at ten intersections in the City of Lacey and its urban growth area. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check for five percent of the amount of the proposal made payable to the City Treasurer, or an approved bid bond for five percent ofthe amount of the proposa] executed on the approved form attached to these o specifications. I f bid bond is used, live percent may be shown dollars and cents or the form may be filled in by inserting therein, m lieu thereof, "five percent of the amount of the accompanying proposal". Check of unsuccessful bidders will be returned immediately upon award of contract. The City Council reserves the right: to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities.
