For Water Treatment Chemicals 2023 (Chlorine and Liquid Caustic Soda Only) Bids are requested for furnishing the items described below, consisting of materials and/or services in accordance with terms set forth herein. Raton Water Works reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids and to issue a purchase order for any part thereof, as deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Raton. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Raton, New Mexico. Raton Water Works reserves the right to increase or decrease bid quantities by one hundred percent (100%), with no change in unit price. Raton water works reserves the right to accept or reject any or all types specified in the bid request, or to issue a purchase order for any part thereof, as is deemed to be in the best interest of the city of raton, New Mexico All chemicals to be delivered upon 7 days notice. Delivery Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, only. All drums and 150 lb cylinder deliveries must be made with a power lift gate on truck. Empty returnable chlorine and caustic soda cylinders and drums must be picked up monthly. Award will be based on the lowest bid received for each chemical. PRICES SHALL BE FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2023 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2023. Prices MUST be all inclusive, to include delivery and applicable demurrage, etc. All charges must be included in bid item. No additional surcharges or fees will be allowed. CHLORINE Delivered as needed 15,000 LBS-Price per pound in 150 lb. cylinders ____________/lb. LIQUID CAUSTIC SODA (SODIUM HYDROXIDE) - 50% SOLUTION 2,750 gallons delivered as needed in 55-gallon drums. Solution must be 50% by weight and suitable for drinking water treatment. Price per pound based upon disposable or returnable drums. Price per pound in 8 - 55-gallon drum shipment, inclusive ______________/lb.
