For construction of the following described Project: DESCRIPTION OF WORK Project description: The scope of this project includes the resurfacing of Cedar Street in the Town of Campbellton, Florida from State Road 2 to Ellaville Road for a total project length of 0.393 miles. Included in this project is hot-mix asphalt paving along with isolated roadway reconstruction, excavation, base work, shoulder rework, ditch grading, clearing and grubbing and grassing. Drainage improvements are also included consisting of cross drain pipe culvert replacements along with concrete mitered end sections and concrete ditch paving. Signing and Pavement Marking improvements are also included along with the placement of Thermoplastic markings on the final asphalt surface. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Attention: Bidding Contractors must be prequalified by the DEPARTMENT (FDOT) as required by Section 2 of the current FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
