Site work for a water / sewer project in Campbellton, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Campbellton is requesting proposals for a FDACS Funded Project to conduct Water Efficiency Improvements at Well Pump #4. This includes Grant Administration services and/or Engineering Design and Inspection services related to upgrades at the potable water wells site #4. For Grant Administration, proposals will be ranked based on company/firm qualifications and capabilities, key professional personnel qualifications and capabilities, successful administration of prior grant projects (including FDACS grants) for Florida jurisdictions and other governmental agencies, client references, and fee/proposed fee basis. For Engineering/CEI Services, submittals will be ranked on company/firm qualifications and capabilities, key professional personnel qualifications and capabilities, successful engineering of grant projects (including FDACS grant projects) for jurisdictions and other governmental agencies, and client references. Sealed proposals should be submitted in accordance with specific marking instructions. Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Contracts/subcontracts must comply with affirmative steps to assure use of minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms when possible. Replacement ofAging Pump at Well #4 The existing vertical turbine pump at Well #4, installed in 2001, will be replaced with a more energy-efficient pump. The new pump will have a capacity of 500 gallons per minute (gpm) at 195 feet total dynamic head (TDH). This upgrade will enhance water delivery efficiency, significantly reduce energy consumption, and lower operational costs while ensuring a reliable water supply for the town. Installation ofDiesel-Powered Emergency Generator A diesel-powered emergency generator will be installed at Well #4 to provide backup power during outages. This measure ensures uninterrupted water service, compliance with Florida Department ofEnvironmental Protection (FDEP) requirements, and improved system reliability during emergencies.
