DESCRIPTION OF WORK This project primarily consists of paving, drainage and utility improvements located on six (6) different roads within the Town of Campbellton consisting of Quarters Court (0.28 miles), Fernwood Street (0.27 miles), Osceola Ave (0.45 miles), Wilmington Court (0.16 miles), New Bethel Road (0.47 miles), Rail Street (0.18 miles) and Contour Drive (0.12 miles) for a total project length of 1.93 miles. Paving improvements consist of mill, resurfacing and reconstruction of existing paved roads, along with earthwork, base work and shoulder work. Proposed drainage improvements consist of ditch grading, culvert replacement and concrete drainage structures. This project will also contain utility improvements consisting of the placement of new water mains, fire hydrants and water service connections. Also included in this project is clearing/grubbing, pavement markings and roadway signing. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
