Site work for a water / sewer project in Grandview, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project estimated cost is 5 million. This project includes source well improvements to maintain safe and reliable produc-tion of drinking water. The City of Grandview is experiencing declining aquifer levels and reduced well capacity systemwide. A new well Country Park Well, 519 will be constructed with a maximum depth of about 1600 feet below ground surface. The well is anticipated to produce 1500 gpm. The proposed improvements will include a new well building approximately 1000 square feet for the new well and Piping, chlo-rine equipment, generator, and electrical gear. The building exterior is anticipated to consist of concrete masonry unit walls and metal roofing. This project will also include miscellaneous site piping and site improvements.
