The City of Grandview is seeking proposals from certified and experienced HVAC contractors for the installation of a 95% efficient gas furnace and AC unit in our 2252 sq ft training area. The selected contractor will be responsible for the supply and installation of the equipment, as well as the design and installation of the ductwork system to ensure optimal performance. Supply and installation of a 95% efficient gas furnace and 13SEER AC unit o Linesets to be routed in wall or protected with linehide type material with UV rating o Duct pressure test and balancing report to be provided at completion o Design and installation of a ducted vent system to each room in the training area, including a trunkline, lateral runs to registers, and ceiling vents/registers o Installation of a 7-day programmable thermostat o Mastic sealing of the trunkline using prime grade galvanized metal and R8 flexible lateral runs o Any exposed Ductwork to be run in 26ga Spiral with flush diffusers o Drain lines to be routed to assure frost protection per Code requirements o Secondary drain pan to be protected with wet switch or similar safety for drain failure o Installation of filter grills in the ceiling vents to allow for easy filter changes and accommodate 2" thick filters up to Merv11, as per COVID requirements for public facilities o Supply and installation of an additional air scrubber 24v unit for additional protection of surfaces and Airborne Bacteria. Experience and qualifications of the contractor and their team o Quality and efficiency of the proposed equipment and ductwork design o Past performance and references from similar projects o Compliance with local building codes and safety standards o Price and payment terms. Detailed proposal including a description of the equipment, ductwork design, and air scrubber, cost breakdown, and payment terms o Resumes and qualifications of the contractor and key team members o List of similar projects completed by the contractor, including references and contact information o Proof of insurance and certifications. Proof of certifications including: Manual D, S, J, and Performance Tested Comfort Systems (PTCS) ID# o Intent and Affidavit to be filled with LNI for prevailing wage compliance Intent to be filed prior to work commencing and post proper job site requirements. o Performance bond will be required if the project exceeds the state's required level as per the municipality regulations of WA state.
