As of 03/07/2023 Start date will be in August 2023 The County of Sheboygan, in partnership with Ducks Unlimited invites qualified contractors to bid on improvements to the Sheboygan County Marsh Park Dam located at W7039 County Road SR, Elkhart Lake, WI 53020. The work involved includes the installation of an owner purchased powered Crest Gate and (2) Slide Gates and related modifications and Improvements. Interested bidders who have pre-qualified secure plans and specifications or complete necessary steps for prequalification. Alternatively, bidders or prospective bidders may contact Mr. Warren Weirich at Ducks Unlimited by calling (734) 646-8135 with any questions. Instructions for submission of the bids are included in the bid documents. Bids received after the due date and time may not be considered. All bids received become the property of Ducks Unlimited and The County of Sheboygan and must remain in effect for not less than Sixty (60) days following the due date. Bids received may not be changed or withdrawn following bid opening without the express written consent of Ducks Unlimited and The County of Sheboygan. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than 5 Percent of the total Base Bid. The Awarded bidder will also be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to the total contract cost within ten days of receipt of the notice to proceed. Sheboygan County and Ducks Unlimited reserve the right to reject any bid, cancel this solicitation, waive any informality associated with the bid process and award the bid deemed to be most beneficial to the County of Sheboygan.
