The Contract shall be for a three (3) year period beginning March 10, 2023, with the option during the term of the Contract to renew the Contract for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. The proposals received will be evaluated by the Town and ranked according to the following criteria: a) Completeness of proposal; b) Cost of Service as submitted in proposal form; c) Performance record in servicing other similar municipal contracts; d) Equipment and facilities to be used by Contractor; e) Experience of Contractor; f) Transition procedures; g) Methods of ensuring customer satisfaction and service quality; h) Adequacy of insurance Each proposal shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and shall be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope, "Solid Waste Collection and Disposal." A proposal bond or certified check must accompany the Proposal, in accordance with the Instructions to Proponents. The Town of Rancho Viejo specifically reserves the right to reject any or all proposals to waive irregularities or informalities in any or all proposals and to accept any proposal which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Rancho Viejo.
