Renovation of a multi-residential development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) in the category of work GENERAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION and must submit with its Bid a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement.General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) in the category of work GENERAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION and must submit with its Bid a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. The Project (Including Base Bid plus 2 Alternates) consists of comprehensive modernization of six existing elevator systems; two systems located in each of three Buildings on two adjacent sites. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Notice to Proceed for this Project may be issued as much as 90 days from the date the Springfield Housing Authority approves the construction contract. The work is estimated to cost $4,482,138.00 including Base Bid and two Alternates. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to Federal minimum wage rates as indicated in Section 00.73.43-LABOR REGULATIONS. The Work shall start at the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed (Substantial Completion) within the following number of consecutive days thereafter or be subject to liquidated damages; see SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS PART 2, heading CONTRACTOR'S LIABILITY FOR DELAYS. Base Bid: 434 days Building 14, 103-105 Division Street, 2 Elevators. Alternate No. 1 210 days Building 16, 115-117 Sanderson Street, 2 Elevators. Alternate No. 2 210 days Building 17, 67-69 Sanderson Street, 2 Elevators. Total Project 854 days
