Site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide Abatement of HVAC for Warner Elementary School in Springfield, MA 01129. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes. Work includes, but is not limited to: Asbestos Abatement of HVAC and associated materials as designated in the Contract Documents. All work shall be performed by a Massachusetts licensed Asbestos Abatement Contractor in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than January 27, 2023 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) MWBE participation applies. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer or designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
