Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bellevue, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work for which bids are being requested consists of reconstructing E. Jefferson Street from N. Main Street to East Street and Madison Street from E. Jefferson Street to E. Capital Avenue including crushing & shaping the existing roadway with trenching and widening, 8" ductile iron water main, storm sewer, curb & gutter, culverts, ADA ramps, clearing, restoration, permanent signage, pavement markings and other appurtenances. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90)days.
