Bid date has been extended from 1/26/23 to 2/9/2023. The Lake Stevens School District No. 4 (District) is soliciting bids for tenant improvements to restroom facilities within an existing one-story classroom building. Base Bids and Bid Securities received after this time may not be accepted. All Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the Bidder's name, address, the name of the project and the deadline date and time appearing on the OUTSIDE of the envelope. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidders to see that their Bids are delivered by the designated time. No responsibility will be taken by the District for wrong delivery by any Bidder, for delays in the US Mail or delivery services, or internal district mail, or for misaddressed or misrouted Bids Each Bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to Lake Stevens School District No. 4 in an amount of not less than five percent of Bidder's Basic Bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid. No Bid may be withdrawn, except with the express permission of the Owner, after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days. Bidders' attention is directed to State and Federal laws concerning wages, working hours and other conditions of employment and all requirements for public works construction. Contract is subject to Washington State L&I Prevailing Wage Rates effective on the Bid date. The Contractor may proceed with the Work on site starting on June 19, 2023. With coordination with the Owner, limited staging may occur prior to that date provided school activities are not impacted. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on August 25, 2023.
