The City of Kelowna is seeking proposals from qualified service providers for the supply, installation, and maintenance of security systems, including cameras, card access systems, and security alarms. The estimated value of the deliverables for the three-year contract, which may be extended for two additional one-year terms, is not to exceed $300,000 per year. The service provider will be responsible for monitoring the security systems and providing activity reports, as well as responding to alarms and other issues within specified time frames. To be considered, the service provider must meet certain technical requirements and have relevant certifications, as well as demonstrate its experience and qualifications in the field of security access and camera monitoring services. The service provider will be required to enter into a contract with the City based on the terms and conditions outlined in the form of contract provided in Appendix A.
