The General Small Works Roster may be used to secure price quotations and to award contracts for the construction of public works projects less than $350,000.00 in value. Contractors who desire to have their names placed or maintained on the above-described General Small Works Roster need to contact the Wahkiakum County Public Works Department at P.O. Box 97, Cathlamet, WA 98612 or FAX No. (360) 795-0342 or email jensend@co.wahkiakum.wa.us for an application. Wahkiakum County in accordance with Title VI of the Civil rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an award. The Small Works Roster shall be valid from February 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024. Contractor's failure to resubmit a Small Works Roster form may result in removal from Roster. Therefore, interested contractors are encouraged to submit current information. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
