**Versacon requests bids by 12:00 PM on February 27, 2024. In general, the Project consists of interior and exterior renovations to a higher education building. Facility construction work includes concrete, salvaged brick masonry, steel stud framing, insulation, EPDM roof patching, concrete waterproofing, hollow metal, flush wood doors, aluminum storefront, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, tile carpeting, metal façade building signage, and painting. Plumbing work includes installing a lavatory. HVAC work includes replacement of cabinet unit heater, return grilles, diffusers, and dampers. Electrical work includes renovation of lighting, data, power, fire alarm, emergency systems, door access, and exterior lighting. Site work includes removal of paving, concrete paving, light pole bases. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent of the maximum amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid as described in the Project Manual, Instructions to Bidders. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted by the Owner and Architect/Engineer to answer questions and to enable bidders to examine conditions at the Project Site. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all Bids. Bids may only be withdrawn in accordance with the Project Manual, Instructions to Bidders.
