The Martin County Hospital District invites bids from qualified contractors to perform an enlargement of the existing Martin County EMS barn/garage. The project is located at 1101 Broadway in Stanton, Texas. The general scope of the project is as follows: expansion to existing barn/garage consisting of 2,400 square feet, enclosed and climate controlled and an additional 1,200 square feet for an exterior wash bay. Building materials will be PBR roof and wall panels, (60' x 60' x 14" pre-engineered). Building will have 2 (two) enclosed ambulance bays and 1 (one) washbay. Contractor must be properly licensed/certified to perform necessary work. Information showing necessary work for renovation is available in the Martin County Hospital Administrative offices, located at 600 Interstate 20 East, Stanton, Texas. The criteria that will be used for selection of the contractor, as well as the weight assigned to each criteria, are as follows: prior construction experience in general and prior construction experience. (50%); prior experience on construction projects within 25 miles of Stanton, Texas (5%); prior experience working with a healthcare facility (20%); experience of individuals who will be involved on project (10%); references from Healthcare facilities/entities (15%). The District shall accept the bid that offers the citizens of the District the best value, based on experience, cost, reliability, references, and the criteria above. The submitted proposal should address all the criteria above, as well as the contractor's proposed fees and prices for fulfilling the project requirements.
