Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Stanton, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 90,962-square-foot medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

The project is located at 600 Interstate 20 East in Stanton, Texas. The Martin County Hospital District invites bids from qualified contractors to construct a Medical Office Building, including exam rooms, lab, imaging, therapy [including pool], and support areas. It also includes driveway entrance reconfiguration, new' hospital helipad and parking lot areas. The project is divided into two phases: Phase One the construction of a new relocated helipad; Phase Two the remainder of the site and new' building construction. The general scope of the project is as follows: new construction consisting of 90,962 square feet including wiring, lighting, workspace, and exam rooms. Proposal security in the sum of 5% of the greatest amount proposed, and in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or Surety Proposal Bond, shall accompany each Proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers. The criteria that will be used for selection of the contractor, as well as the weight assigned to each criteria, are as follows: prior construction experience in general and prior construction experience in physician. Hospital, or clinic settings (50%); prior experience on construction projects within 25 miles of Stanton, Texas (5%); prior experience working with a healthcare facility (20%); experience of individuals who will be involved on project (10%); references from Healthcare facilities/entities (15%). The District shall accept the bid that offers the citizens of the District the best value, based on experience, cost, reliability, references, and the criteria above. Contractor must be properly licensed/certified to perform necessary work.
