The City of Bonita Springs plans to engage A Qualified Contractor in construction of the Old 41 Road and Strike Lane Signalization and Sidewalk Improvements Project The Bid Form must be properly signed. If you are interested in preparing a response to this RFB, the Contractor shall submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of their bid, including a flash drive, along with all required attachments. Your response is considered a binding offer and shall remain a firm offer for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from public opening. The contractor(s) will be required to enter into a contract with the City using the City's forms. The City reserves the right to formally amend or clarify the requirements of the bid Specifications where it deems necessary. Any such addendum/clarification shall be posted to the City's website electronically prior to the deadline for submission of bids. It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to check the website for any project addenda. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive defects in the form of bid, re-advertise for bids, also to select the bid that best meets the requirements of the City. The work includes signalization, intersection lighting, milling, and resurfacing the existing roadway, sidewalk construction at the intersection, landscape restoration, signage, and pavement markings. The Contractor shall provide all labor, construction equipment, miscellaneous construction materials and maintenance of traffic services as required. The Contractor shall be responsible for all damages during construction including, but not limited to, sidewalks, curbs, pavement, landscaping, and underground utilities. Strike Lane Sidewalk Improvements: The Strike Lane Sidewalk Improvements project consists of all work associated with the grading, drainage, and concrete placement for the construction of sidewalks on both sides of Strike Lane from the intersection with Old 41 Road to the railroad right-of-way approximately 400 feet east of Old 41 Road in the City of Bonita Springs, Lee County, Florida. The work shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Trebilcock Consulting Solutions dated November 18, 2022. The Contractor shall provide all labor, construction equipment, miscellaneous construction materials and maintenance of traffic services as required. The Contractor shall be responsible for all damages during construction including, but not limited to, sidewalks, curbs, pavement, landscaping, and underground utilities.
