Demolition, site work and renovation of a library in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a library; for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.
As of May 31, 2023, the prequalification phase for these trades have been closed, but the remaining trades package is currently out for prequalification. Subcontractor bidding will then take place in separate stages, with the first going out in September/October 2023 and the second releasing in December 2023/First Quarter 2024. New construction will begin in the first quarter of 2024 and go through 2025. Interested parties should contact the Construction Manager directly to prequalify for bidding opportunities. Rodgers will accept Trade Contractor prequalification applications Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Existing Main Library and Spirit Square Demolition and Stabilization bid packages include: 02A Selective Building Demolition, 26D Temporary Electrical, and 31B Shoring Systems All communications for project specific information must go through Diego Montes at dmontes@rodgersbuilders.com. *Overall construction budget is not yet finalized but likely in the $145 million range.
