The purpose of this quote is to receive responses from qualified respondents for the 50 Gallon Water Heater Replacement for Clermont Arts and Recreation Center in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained herein. The City of Clermont is accepting quotes for a 50 Gallon Water Heater replacement. All units must be new with a full manufacturer's warranty on all components. Respondents shall provide experienced technicians to perform all labor and provide all materials, tools, equipment, permits and licensing necessary to perform the work. Successful respondent is solely responsible for the safety of their employees and sub-contractors relative to the work, work procedures, material, equipment, transportation, signage and related activities and equipment. Provide material, equipment, labor, and tools to complete the following scope of work Water heater and motor must be similar products Turn off water to the water heater and drain down heater. Disconnect water heater from existing copper water lines. Disconnect water heater from existing electrical connection. Remove and dispose of existing 50 gallon electric water heater. Provide and install a new AO Smith DRE52-24kw-480V-3PH 50 gallon water heater. Provide and install a new atmospheric vacuum breaker and thermal expansion tank. Make connections to existing copper water lines with new type L copper pipe and pro press fittings. Provide a new ball valve for recirculation line connection to cold water line. Connect to existing electrical line. Fill up system and purge of any air. Turn on heater and test for leaks and proper operation. Set heater temperature to factory setting of 120 degrees. Replacement of Grundfos circulation pump above water heater with a new Grundfos UPS15-35SFC Remove all equipment, and clean jobsite Provide a one (1) year manufacture warranty and one (1) year labor warranty All work to be performed normal working hours Monday through Friday; 8AM-5PM Question Deadline: January 25, 2023, 3:00pm As the best interests of the City may require, the City reserves the right to make an award on the lowest price basis by individual item, group of items, all or none, or a combination thereof; with one or more respondent(s); to reject any and all responses or waive any minor irregularity or technicality in responses.
