This Request for Supplier Qualifications ("RFSQ") is an invitation by SaskWater to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide New Groundwater Well (#07) Drilling Services - CUPOWSS as further described in the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the "Deliverables"). Pre-Qualified proponents will be invited to submit bids for drilling services for new well at Cupar, SK. SaskWater is Saskatchewan's commercial Crown water utility, helping communities, First Nations and industry gain access to trusted and sustainable water solutions for a vibrant Saskatchewan. Background: SaskWater owns and operates a non-potable water wellfield and water treatment plant that currently supplies water to the Town of Cupar, Saskatchewan.The two (2) existing water wells and water treatment plant are located within the Town of Cupar, in the SE Lsd 09-Section 07-Township 23-Range 16W2 and the SW Lsd 12-Section 08-Township 23-Range 16W2. The two (2) existing water wells currently operated by SaskWater are completed within the Hatfield Valley Aquifer. The Water Well Drillers Reports for these wells are documented within the on-line data base maintained by the Water Security Agency of Saskatchewan (WWDR nos. 084286 and 125211). The static water level in these wells is approximately 60 metres. Scope of Work: The drilling and electric logging (SP and Resistance) of two (2) - minimum 159 mm diameter confirmatory testholes to the base of the Hatfield Valley Aquifer, which should be encountered at an approximate depth of 189 metres. The installation and development of one (1) - 50 mm diameter observation well into one of the confirmatory test holes. Enlarging the other confirmatory testhole to a suitable diameter, followed by the construction, development, and pump testing of one (1) - 200 mm diameter carbon steel or type 304 stainless steel cased water supply well. The estimated well depth is 185 metres.
