For Crosswalk Upgrade Project The estimated cost of the project is $159,863.65 This project involves the upgrading existing crosswalks to current standards. Major work includes, but is not limited to construction of rapid flashing beacons, curb ramps, pavement markings and striping, signing and pavement replacement. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. The Contractor shall possess a Class A license at the time that this contract is awarded. The Department of Community Development and Infrastructure hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. Bidders are advised that, as required by federal law, the County of Santa Cruz is implementing new Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE).
