Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids will be received for the following bid packages: Bid Package #1 3 Site Work; Bid Package #2 3 General Construction; Bid Package #3 3 Flooring; Bid Package #4 3 Plumbing; Bid Package 5 3 HVAC; Bid Package #6 3 Fire Protection; Bid Package #7 3 Electrical; and Bid Package #83 Low Voltage No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the proposals without the consent of School District 172 for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. All employees of the Contractor or Subcontractor(s) on construction work for this Project shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on similar construction in the locality as determined by the Department of Labor in accordance with the applicable provisions of the "Wages of Employees on Public Works Act" (Prevailing Wage Act, Illinois Rev.
