As of November 23rd, 2023, project was awarded to Global Contractors, LLC with an awarded amount of $939,933.50. All bids must be properly marked and sealed in accordance with this "Invitation to Bid." The project consists of rectangular rapid flashing beacons to create pedestrian crossings at 4 locations throughout the City of Kent; 104th Ave SE south of 256th St, SE 240th St east of 104th Ave SE, Central Ave N south of Novak Lane, and Central Ave N at Kent Memorial Park. This work will include median construction, corresponding signage, channelization, ped scale lighting, conduit installation, ADA curb ramps, junction boxes, wiring, and pushbutton assembly installation.
