For Distribution System Materials Inventory Verification Project The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: o Notify property owners of verification work to be completed on private property as specified herein. o Complete two (2) exterior verifications at each property according EGLE guidelines and the project specifications, including identification of material type and completion of a Survey123 electronic questionnaire and photos of each verification. o Complete one (1) interior verification at each property according EGLE guidelines and the project specifications, including identification of material type and completion of a Survey123 electronic questionnaire and photos of each verification. o This project entails examination of existing plumbing and therefore the Contractor will not be considered a formal "Plumbing Inspector." Proof of Master Plumber license will not be necessary to complete this work. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the Village of Lawton, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days to allow for the review of proposals and to allow completion of necessary financial arrangements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents
