Weber Basin Water Conservancy District will accept Statements of Qualification from contractors interested in bidding on the Davis South WTP - PAC Silo Project. Bids will only be accepted from those General Contractors that are prequalified by the Owner. No other General Contractors will be eligible to bid on this Project. All communications relative to this Work shall be directed to the Owner prior to submittal of the Statement of Qualifications. The Weber Basin Water Conservancy District is now accepting Statements of Qualification from
General Contractors that wish to provide services for the construction of the Davis South Water
Treatment Plant - PAC Silo.
The Work generally consists of:
1. Construction of a new Powder Activated Carbon (PAC) storage silo and feed
system, including demolition of the existing PAC storage and feed equipment,
paving and grading in the area around the new and existing PAC system, minor
piping modifications to raw water (RW) and return waste washwater line (RWW)
upstream of influent distributor, repair and reconstruction of existing improvements
affected by the Work, and incidentals for complete and usable facility.
a. Bid Alternate (Additive): Paving and grading in addition to what is included
in the base bid.
2. Commissioning of the Work.
The Work is located at 38 North Davis Boulevard, Bountiful, Utah 84010 at the District's Davis
South Water Treatment Plant (Figure 1). The Owner is anticipating receiving bids for the Work in
March 2023. The Work will commence in April 2023 and be completed and approved by OWNER
in all respects by March 31, 2024.
