Renovation of an educational facility in Roanoke, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project is generally described as renovation of an existing space which consists of darkroom areas that are no longer in use as well as an existing classroom. The new OTA lab will act as a simulation space that aims to prepare students for real world applications. The lab will feature simulated modern residential spaces such as a restroom, bedroom, and kitchen as well as open areas to accommodate class breakout groups and exercise therapy instruction. Low walls are incorporated throughout for ample student observation while the instructor demonstrates proper techniques. Bids may be modified as per the Instructions to Bidders using fax number (804) 819-4762 and copying sroberts@vccs.edu. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2) and Contract Security is required for any bid regardless of bid amount.
