Stony Brook University Hospital's Physical Plant Operations is seeking a contractor to inspect, test, and document all Fire Smoke Dampers within the Main Hospital Towers, Pavilion and MART buildings (Location: 101 Nicolls Rd, Stony Brook, NY 11794). NFPA code requires all non-hospital/ business spaces to be inspected every 4 years. All hospital areas are required to be inspected every 6 years. We are within the time period of needing an inspection. All Bidders' questions must be submitted in writing, citing the particular Bid page, section and paragraph number where applicable. All questions must be submitted via e-mail, no later than 2:00 p.m. February 1, 2023, to Luci.Alpers@stonybrookmedicine.edu Questions received after the closing date for inquiries will not be answered. All questions must be relevant to the Bidder's response to this Bid. Copies of all relevant questions, with official responses, will be provided in writing to all Bidders who have requested this Bid. Only written answers are official. If you are interested in providing a proposal for the above commodity/ product or service, you must contact the appropriately designated Campus contact in this advertisement within 15 business days of this Advertisement Notice.
