Dickson County, Tennessee (Owner) is requesting lump sum sealed bids for the following Project: Canterbury Site Tree Clearing, Dickson County, Tennessee. The scope of the work required under this contract includes tree removal and site cleanup. All trees 5 inches in diameter and greater shall be cut down on or before March 24, 2023. Logs and tree tops shall be disposed of off-site, with stumps left in place to minimize ground disturbance. Bidder shall note the location of environmentally sensitive areas to be left undisturbed. All pricing is to include the cost of clearing trees, leaving stumps in place, chipping tops of trees, disposing of all logs and chipped tops off-site, and site cleanup. Checks should be made payable to James + Associates. The right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities is reserved by the owner. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976, ITCA Title 62, Chapter 6. No bid will be opened unless the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the contractor's license number, date of license expiration, and that part of the contractor's classification applying to the bid. In the case of joint ventures, this information must be provided by all parties submitting the bid. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for sixty (60) calendar days after the date of opening bids. This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
