The opinion of probable cost of Construction for this project is $6,289,759.35 and the Total Construction Cost plus Contingency is $6,888,784. The work under this contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction and installation of the following work: Construction of new water and sewer lines to provide service to new developments, existing connections and to improve pressure along North Loop and Fenter Rd for the LVWD sewer systems. The project consists of approximately 6,250 LF of proposed 8-inch diameter PVC sewer line, including all necessary manholes, fittings, and appurtenances and of approximately 8,850 LF of proposed 12-inch diameter PVC water line, including all necessary valves, fittings, and appurtenances. Remove and reconstruct 1186 Linear feet of reinforced channel concrete lining, complete in place. The last day for questions from prospective Bidders will be held on January 30th, 2023 Addendums Issued will be held on January 31st, 2023 Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the amount bid. The Successful Bidder states he or she must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Payment Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and the General Conditions. By submission of the bid, Bidder fully understands the requirements of the Contract Documents and agrees to comply with all requirements thereof.
