Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Ford City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project consists of the installation of approximately 3,400 feet of 10-inch or 12-inch HDPE or C-900 forcemain from the existing 12th Pump Station together with all excavation; temporary plumbing; environmental control measures; installation of new valves, fittings, concrete blocking and restoration of all disturbed area; and all items necessary for completion of the projects. A Bid Security comprised of a certified check or bid bond drawn to the order of the Ford City Borough Municipal Sewage Disposal Authority executed by the bidder and a surety company satisfactory to the Authority, in an amount equal to not less than ten percent of the total amount of the Bid must be submitted with the proposal. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, BID SUBMISSION. The Authority hereb reser the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality bids received, but any contract work awarded will be to the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the Bid Opening. Bid Result. Base Bid A:Shadco $316,996.00 Base Bid B:Shadco $349,482.00
