Renovation of a municipal facility in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work to be included in the Construction Contract is generally described as removing and replacing the carpet and cove base in certain areas of the Information Technology (I.T.) area located on the 3rd floor of the Ada County Courthouse, 200 W. Front Street, Boise, Idaho 83702, Questions Due Date: Feb 8th 2023, 4:00 PM MST o Contractor shall provide all material and labor for the removal of existing carpet and cove base and installing new carpet tiles and cove base as specified above. o Contractor shall raise all furniture which cannot be easily moved, i.e., large desks and cubicles, prior to the removal of the existing carpet and installation of the new carpet. o Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring correct measurements of areas to be recarpeted. o Carpet is to be laid in a quarter-turn pattern. o Contractor shall cover all areas where adhesive has been laid down prior to leaving the work area. o Contractor will be responsible for disposing of all waste materials. All waste must be removed from the area each day. Ada County dumpsters are not to be used for disposal of carpet. Onsite storage of non-waste materials shall be determined by Ada County Operations prior to work commencing. o Work shall meet all applicable codes; Contractor is responsible for obtaining any required building, electrical, mechanical, and fire permits. o Owner will occupy the site during the entire Project. Contractor shall cooperate with Owner during the Project to minimize conflicts and facilitate Owner usage. Contractor shall perform the work so as not to interfere with Owner's operations and ensure that all areas are available for employee use during regular working hours. Contractor shall coordinate an installation schedule with Owner and schedule all work with Ada County Operations through Jake Vogt using the contact information set forth above. o Contractor shall perform work on the Project between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and any time on Saturday and Sunday.
