Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Camas, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of May 10, 2024, construction commenced around April 1, 2024. Additional trades are not needed at this time. Evergreen School District #114 has been approved by the Project Review Committee to utilize General Contractor/Construction Management (GC/CM) as an alternative delivery method of construction for the Music Room Additions at Union High School and Evergreen High School. Evergreen is now seeking Statement of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide GC/CM Services for the project. . They will be constructed on the existing operating High School sites. The two locations are 4 miles apart. Typical Class size for Band will be up to 75 students, for Orchestra 60 students. The Project will include separated practice rooms and musical instrument storage. Improved acoustical considerations will be a key project program design criterion. The preliminary Total Contract budget is approximately $3,895,000, inclusive of the GC/CM project contingency. Evergreen School District #114 is requesting Statements of Qualifications for General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) services for the Music Room Additions and Union High School and Evergreen High School project which includes construction of a new 3,500 SF Addition at each location and associated site work. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
