**As of April 10,2023. bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** Lake Shore Drive Widening A bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each bid. A one hundred percent (100%) performance, a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond and a ten percent (10%) maintenance bond will also be required of the successful bidder. It is intended that actual construction of all work divisions shall be started as soon as practicable, and each bidder shall be prepared to enter promptly into a construction contract, furnish a performance bond, and begin work without delay in the event the award is made to him. The work shall consist of widening of Lake Shore Drive from State Rd. 10 to Academy Rd. with HMA pavement, concrete sidewalks, and drainage improvements. This work will also include concrete curb and gutter, drive way reconstruction, street light relocation, and storm sewer to provide a complete project and as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations. The Town of Culver, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids.
