Project Category Code: Sewer and Water Construction Description: The City of Lexington is seeking bids to upgrade the existing Glenn Drive Lift Station. The work includes the following: 1. Removal of existing vacuum assisted pumps. 2. Replacement of existing piping and valves inside the wetwell & valve vault. 3. Installing submersible pumps and all other ancillary equipment necessary for the conversion, including guide-rails and controls. 4. Contractor is responsible for all electrical and piping work. 5. Any necessary by-pass pumping is the responsibility of the contractor. The City of Lexington reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City of Lexington is an equal opportunity employer. Minority contractors are encouraged to bid. A simple agreement will be provided upon selection of the contractor. A bid bond is not required. Please provide proof of insurance upon submittal of bid. Schedule: Work must be completed by April 7, 2023.
