Site work for a conference / convention center in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a conference / convention center.

Requisition is to secure a supplier to provide a Yurt as a replacement to the existing yurt located at the Natural Resources Park on the Ohio State Fair Grounds. Ohio|Buys online solicitation (SRC8326) to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State. Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total. Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive. Supplier to provide a Yurt as a replacement to the existing yurt located at the Natural Resources Park on the Ohio State Fair Grounds as follows: Modern lattice wall yurt Diameter = 16' 200 square feet 10' 3" Height at center 1,000 lbs. approximate base shipping weight Side Cover: Polyester - (Olive) Acrylic coated 100% polyester fabric providing exceptional strength, durability and low maintenance; with easy clip-on design. Standard Top Cover: (Putty w/Putty Valance) Flame retardant vinyl/polyester fabric providing excellent durability, low maintenance and protection from the elements and should include a 10-year material manufacturer's warranty. Overhead seams should be electronically bonded together instead of being machine sewn and should be impervious to moisture. Fabric Windows: Three large windows (54x45), which open from outside, made from clear vinyl framed in 2" marine quality Velcro. Windows should include zippered weather flaps and sewn-in screens. Window Door: (Outward Opening - Right Lever) solid wood door with large window and inset wood panel that comes pre-hung and includes weather stripping. There should be solid brass hinges with bronze finish, quality lockset and aluminum threshold providing long term durability with lifetime warranty. Upgrade Door Hardware: (Passage Lever & Deadbolt) Rain Diverter: Inverted V-shaped fabric pouch with rigid PVC inserts welded to the roof and diverts water away from the entry. A rain diverter should be included over the door. Fan Support: Wood support allowing for the installation of a ceiling fan in the center of the yurt for cooling. Insulation Liners - (Roof and Wall Insulation) It should work by reflecting radiant heat in both directions, keeping the yurt warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Ease of Construction: Requires a team of 3-6 people to unload and erect the yurt kit. Building should be able to be done in one day. Durability: Standard fabric covers' with average life to be ten to twelve years. Lattice Wall: Expandable lattice constructed of clear, kiln dried, Douglas Fir, vertical grain lath assembled with aluminum rivets. Finished height should be approximately 7'. Rafters: High quality, structural grade Douglas Fir sanded and finished rafters with wood penetrating oil includes hardened steel pins which fit into holes in center ring and should be notched to fit onto the tension cable. Center Ring: Strong compression ring laminated Douglas Fir finished with a wood penetrating oil and through-bolted for additional strength. Dome: Durable, low maintenance, clear acrylic dome skylight providing natural light and view of the sky. Tension Cable: 3/16" aircraft quality galvanized steel cable with 4,200 lb. breaking strength for 16' yurt should be precut to the proper length and permanently swaged. Instructions and hardware: Detailed set up manual and installation hardware along with recommended platform construction plans.
