Removal and replacement of (18) eighteen existing dry-barrel fire hydrants at Mount Hamilton/UCO Lick Observatory. Replacement to include new concrete pads and bollards. Alternate # 1: Provide head wall retaining wall per detail 3/C2.0. Unit Price # 1: Contractor to provide at time of bid the unit price to replace (1) lateral valve. If a lateral valve is damaged or not operable it will be replaced via change order using this unit price. See Detail 6, Sheet 2.0. Estimated construction cost: Base Bid - $306,000 / Alternate #1 - $3,000 Each Bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Bid as security for Bidder obligation to enter into a Contract with University on the terms stated in the Bid Form and to furnish all items required by the Bidding Documents.
