Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Chemainus, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Rehabilitation and seismic retrofit of existing Chemainus River Bridges No. 01298E/W. Scope of work includes deck renewal, joint renewal and replacement of bearing assemblies on both bridges (Arch and Truss), and coating of structural steel works on the truss bridge only. Project includes construction of detours and median crossovers for traffic management. Project Location: Chemainus River Bridges No. 01298E/W crossing the Chemainus River located along Highway 1 on Vancouver Island. LKI Segment 0442 between kilometre 0.42 and 0.50, 400 m north of Mount Sicker Road between Duncan and Chemainus.
