The scope of work includes but is not limited to: The installation and maintenance of hoarding, dust protection and construction signage around each phase of the work as described in Section 01 56 00 - Protection of Work and Property. Wholesale removal and replacement of prefinished aluminium snap cap. Wholesale removal and reinstatement of pressure plates, including new dry gasket seals. Wholesale removal and replacement of corner plugs, including cleaning of all drainage paths and exposed assembly. Localized removal and replacement of metal drip edge flashing at the roof parapet and below the glazing assembly including the replacement of the self-adhered membrane as indicated by the Consultant. Localized removal and replacement of failed insulated glazing units as indicated on the Drawings. Wholesale removal and replacement of building envelope sealants at glazing system and cladding interface. Wholesale removal and replacement of aluminium roofing and flashing above glass vestibule, including the alumni drip edge flashing below the glazing assembly. Localized excavation work along the southwest curtain wall to expose the stucco finish below grade for inspection of damage. Removal of interior aluminium trim plate below the curtain wall assembly for inspection of wood blocking and steel wall framing. Repair all areas damaged by construction activity; specifically, the Contractor shall repair all damage resulting from the Construction to the satisfaction of the Consultant including repainting of surfaces in accordance with these Specifications which have been damaged. Final cleaning of structure, curtain wall, glass, etc., and the disposal all waste products and/ or debris generated by the construction activity as well as any material present in the work area prior to the commencement of the Work.
