Description The City of Eagle Pass (CITY) is soliciting this request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) from General Contractors (GC) for the ICT HVAC Improvements (RFP#2023-004) Scope of project consists of improvements to an existing building including but not limited to: 1) HEATING, VENTILATING AND AIR CONDITIONING: - Chiller replacements. - Rooftop Unit (RTU) replacements. - Exhaust fan replacements. - Duct heater replacements. - Control system upgrade. - Test and balance. 2) ELECTRICAL (INCL. FIRE ALARM): - Circuitry removal/reinstallation & new circuits. The Project is located on 3295 Bob Rogers Drive, Eagle Pass, Texas, 78852. The estimated completion date of this Project is three hundred and sixty (360) calendar days(s) from the date established in the Notice to Proceed under the Contract for Work. The CITY shall select the Offeror that submits the proposal that offers the best value for the governmental entity based on: (1) the selection criteria in this request for proposal and the weighted value for those criteria in this request for proposal; and (2) its ranking evaluation. Please note that Eagle Pass is considered a remote location by many delivery companies and couriers. Proposers must allow adequate time for delivery, and not assume overnight delivery will reach the CITY prior to opening date and time. - The CITY will not accept late submissions, including but not limited to, misdirected submissions, or those caused by technical difficulties or other actions/inactions not directly attributed to the CITY or representatives of the CITY. - the CITY does not accept proposals submitted electronically, E-Mail, nor via Facsimile. - All proposals become property of the City of Eagle Pass upon receipt.
