Supply of All Necessary Labour, Materials, Equipment, and Incidentals to Remove, Dispose and Replace Portions of the Existing 1 1/2 " Lube Oil Piping at the City of Victoria Public Works Yard Located at 417 Garbally Road, Victoria, BC. The scope of work generally includes the following: Relocation of one (1) existing concrete highway barrier. Removal and disposal of three (3) existing underground 100O (4") gasketed PVC pipes and supply & install three (3) new underground and aboveground solvent welded PVC piping and ancillaries. Removal and disposal of one (1) existing underground 100O (4") gasketed PVC piping and supply and install one (1) new 40O (1- 1/2 ") underground flexible double wall used oil piping and new 32O (1 1/4 ") SS ball valve. Supply and installation of one (1) new piping transition sump including flexible entry boots and ancillary equipment. Construction of two (2) new concrete filled steel pipe bollards Supply and installation of one (1) new Used Oil Tank high level alarm including new level switch and all associated wiring and ancillaries. Testing and commissioning of new piping and systems The Contractor is responsible for coordinating with and assisting the Owners Environmental Engineer with sampling and testing for soil contamination. The contractor shall stockpile and provide assistance for sampling of excavated soils. The Contractor shall support and minimize damage to existing concrete retaining walls, sidewalks and asphalt beyond limits of demolition and replacement shown on contract drawings. Damage shall be restored to as found or better condition. The Contractor shall complete ground penetrating radar (GPR) locates of all areas slated to be saw-cut and excavated for confirmation of existing services. Any existing services discovered not associated with the tank removal are to be protected through construction or replaced accordingly. Supply and installation of the following: Reconstruction of existing asphalt and concrete surface to match their original construction.
