Site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Claresholm, Alberta. Completed plans call for the addition of a 3,500-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The intent of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to solicit Proposals from qualified building and construction firms/contractors for the design and construction of the addition/renovation/upgrades to the Town of Claresholm Fire Hall in two separate phases (the “Project”): 1. Upgrades to the existing building as per the building condition assessment provided by WSP. (See attached - please add furnace replacement as a separate line item- may be removed from the project and removal the tree removal and site grading from the list of required upgrades- other than proposal addition area). 2. Construction of approx. 2500-3500 sq. ft as an addition (1 to 2 apparatus bays as well as a new administration/training area to the fire hall located at 350 43 Ave West.). This project is split into two phases: Phase 1: Pre-construction services for the project. This includes development of a conceptual plan (drawings and perspectives) and the preparation of an opinion of probable costs. This phase will define the requirements of the project (function/programming, etc.), budget and schedule. This deliverable to be completed June 1, 2023. Phase 2: Upon successful funding announcement the construction drawings and construction phase will begin. This deliverable to begin spring 2024 with a completion date of October 31, 2024. Phase 2 will only commence upon successful grant application announcement.
